Characters can earn Star Points (SP) by participating in events and submitting bonus AC proofs. Each character gains 1 SP for completing activity check and 1 SP for each bonus AC proof, up to 5 bonus SP (a maximum of 6 SP per month via AC). SP from AC is gained at the time of check-in; event SP is gained at the posting of the event results.
Additional SP can also be earned if your character goes into eclipse, or helps another character come out of eclipse.
SP can be spent to purchase rewards for your character, such as new powers and magical items. You can also choose to donate some of your SP to the Star Suite, which will unlock progressively deeper parts of the part of the crashed ship that serves as the Nova Knights’ secret base and confer additional benefits to the cast.
The Star Suite is a series of unlockable rewards that will apply to the entire cast, regardless of when they joined. When enough points have been donated to purchase the current reward, a new room in the hideout will be unlocked, a new benefit will be conferred to the entire cast, and the point pool will reset for the next room.
To donate SP to the Star Suite, leave a comment in the Star Suite thread below.

Next Room (5/?): Portal
Reward: Warp and transformation charm upgrades, power level upgrade to Gold
Points: 0/60
Dance of Light: A Silver-level finishing move that banishes a weakened monster back to the Abyss, and heals the Nova Knights of some of their injuries. The Nova Knights join hands and summon a shimmering ball of light that engulfs the monster, and the light that reflects back onto the Nova Knights briefly envelops them in healing magic.
individual rewards
You can spend SP in exchange for any of the below rewards for your character. New rewards are marked with a star.
NOTE: The SP cost may be adjusted early on in the game depending on the rate at which players accrue SP so as to keep it balanced.
Recover a Memory: 5 SP
Your character recovers a memory from their past life. This can be any memory you like, but you can ask for a prompt from the mods.
Magic Weapon: 10 SP
You can imbue your character's weapon with a Silver-level power. This power does not have to match your character's combat type(s) and can be passive in nature (i.e. your weapon could come with a cool new move, or its power can just be that it's on fire all the time). This power does have to match your character's domain.
NOTE: You cannot purchase a power of a level higher than the game's current power level.
Upgrade to Gold: 15 SP
Upgrade to Prisma: 20 SP
New Combat Type: 10 SP
You can select one secondary combat type. Your character immediately gains a new Silver-level power of that type and can be granted additional powers by purchasing upgrades.
NOTE: You cannot purchase a power of a level higher than the game's current power level.
Upgrade to Gold: 15 SP
Upgrade to Prisma: 20 SP
Magical Accessory: 10 SP
You can obtain a (non-weapon) magical accessory that grants your character an additional Silver-level power. Like all powers, this item can only be summoned while in supernova.
NOTE: You cannot purchase a power of a level higher than the game's current power level.
Upgrade to Gold: 15 SP
Upgrade to Prisma: 20 SP
If you are purchasing/upgrading a new power or magical item, please also include a short description of the intended power. This is mostly to ensure that powers are appropriate for their given level. If it seems overpowered for its level or it doesn't quite fit its combat type, the mods may make some suggestions to tweak it.

Natalia Koutolika | Nova Neos
no subject
Purchased: Attack Type
Spell: Explosive Rushdown: You ever played street fighter 3? you ever fought a really good Makoto player? You know how she feels like she can control a round to the point where you're just sort of sitting there wondering when you can use the joystick again? Yeah, fighting Neos is kind of like that now.

Re: Natalia Koutolika | Nova Neos
Purchased: The Diadem of Fury, a dangerous black tiara formed from self-hatred and Outrage.
Spell: Crowned With Fury. Eclipse Support Power. Use the righteousness of your displeasure to voyage and cleanse desecrated places without fear, for you are the baddest motherfucker in that valley.
Remaining SP: 2

Dirk Strider | Nova Pastos
Purchased: Magical Accessory (earring?)
Explanation: Paired accessory for Dirk and Lil Cal, ideally summoned at transformation (or else constant.) Lil Cal can now move autonomously from Dirk's physical manipulations of him. Mostly this makes him an excellently distracting "wingman" to Dirk's high-risk, high-reward combat style, although it could theoretically also be used for psychological terrorism. Or, if he decides to equip Cal with a camera and/or mic, spying.

Secondary combat type
SP after purchase: 15
Combat type: Defense
Silver-level power: Requiescat in Pace (R.I.P.) — Mortis summons a big coffin in her signature colors to seal a comrade inside for safekeeping from the enemy. She can only summon one coffin, and it can only have one person or creature in it at a time, but it remains sealed until she reopens it. This can also trap enemies in a pinch, but if they're more powerful than Mortis, they may be able to break the seal on their own.
NOTE: Because Mortis is now handling the supernova end of things on her own, she loses access to Mutsumi's powers and weapon while in supernova. Her new weapon is a doll that looks a lot like herself, which she talks to and controls with her mind in order to hit enemies with it.
Once Mutsumi and Mortis hit a certain point in their character arc, they'll be able to switch freely and utilize both of their power sets, but in the meantime, Mortis's primary combat type is essentially Defense and can't use Mutsumi's Support type to add a modifier to her event rolls.
Re: Secondary combat type
Secondary combat type
Silver-level power: Glimmering Blade — one of Maya's ribbons turns into a blade of shimmering light, making her ribbon weapon functionally attack based instead of solely defense. It's not yet strong enough to take on a medium enemy.

Cynthia Pegasi | Nova Valorous
SP afterwards: 2
Purchased: Magic weapon
Explanation: Cynthia gains the ability to transform her spear into a magic, winged staff (similar to Cardcaptor Sakura's The Fly card). In this form, the spear loses its blade. This weapon power allows Cynthia to much more easily fly with other people, as she doesn't have to physically carry anyone. The staff can fit Cynthia and 1-2 other people depending on size (e.g. two children can fit on it with Cynthia, but only one other teen/adult can fit).
Re: Cynthia Pegasi | Nova Valorous
For a Silver-level power, I think it'd also make sense if there was a limited duration she could continuously fly (maybe up to something like 30-60 minutes), followed by a short cooldown before she can activate it again. This both 1) leaves some room for the power to be upgraded and be EVEN COOLER, and 2) adds some texture for threading because constraints on powers beget interesting solutions. Let me know if this sounds reasonable to you!

Re: Cynthia Pegasi | Nova Valorous
Hope Carassia | Nova Pandora
SP afterwards: 6
Purchased: Magical accessory
Explanation: A long red string coils itself around Pandora's wrist. When they summon its power, they can use Fate: Revelation, an ability that lets them see one non-obvious point of physical weakness on one thing that they're looking at. In effect, Pandora is able to see one of the binds that keep the thing held together, and if they pressure that point then they'll probably be able to cause more damage than they otherwise might.
Re: Hope Carassia | Nova Pandora
Secondary Combat Type: Support
SP: 11
SP after purchase: 1
Combat Type: Support
Silver-level Power: Draw of the Void: Odin's Eyesight - A red and black swirling portal appears in the air beside Nova Vortex. Reaching in, she pulls out Cluey, the Cluemaster, an annoying sapient magnifying glass with a bow tie and massive googly eyes. When anyone looks through Cluey at a particular scene, he will note aloud any one missed clue that would aid in the Nova Knights' mission. This can be modified with a single question or command first if someone hasn't already looked through him (i.e. show me signs of intruders). Any further requests will not be tolerated, even if the question results in no clues given. Once one clue has been noted, he will refuse to point out any further clues, responding to any asks with something along the lines of 'have you thought about opening your eyes, smarty-pants?.' He will float around after summoning for 30 minutes regardless of whether or not a clue has already been found, and after that time has elapsed, will poof out of existence in a puff of brick red smoke regardless of whether or not a clue has been found. He cannot be resummoned for a following 30 minutes.

New Power, so... accessory?
SP after purchase: 19
Purchased: Accessory I guess--maybe some strings around his waist, from which hang a pair of marionette's crossbars? Granting Silver-level Power Uber-marionette - Dirk controls someone else's body more or less the same way he does his own. Caveats: they cannot flash-step like he does under his own control, and it is much easier to do with the character's consent. OOCly, there MUST be player consent for this. For obvious reasons.
Also unlike his control of his own body, there is a time limit of some kind. 10 minutes like with Cal? Less?
